The reason for it being a foot instead of a shoe is quite simple, the foot is the starting point for everything it creates. To better understand everything there is to know about the human foot rely on the never-ending scientific work of people like Dr. professor Brüggemann at the Institute für Biomechanik. There, Dr. professor Brüggemann measures and monitors the movement of thousands of feet and uses this data to precisely identify every single size and the exact last specifications that go into every single pair of ECCO.
- Technology. Machines can’t do everything. Hands can’t do everything. Together they produce magic. It’s knowing exactly when to rely on technology and knowing at times there’s no substitute for tedious, handmade craftsmanship. It’s balancing old school ways with the latest in hi-tech innovation.
